Daniela "Dina" Ferchmin,
Principal Consultant
Born
in Córdoba, Argentina, Dina became a US citizen with her family as a
child. She is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West
Point majoring in Systems Engineering and International Relations. She is
a decorated paratrooper who served with the 82d Airborne Division as a Platoon
Leader, Battalion Administrative Officer, and Company Executive Officer earning
the rank of Captain.
On Active Duty, Dina served with distinction for over a year
in Balkans with NATO's initial peace keeping mission (IFOR). Her international
relations experience, organizational skills, and fluency in the multiple
languages of the region made her a vital coordinating officer - especially
during the first ever democratic elections in Bosnia.
Later, at GE Capital's Transport International Pool (TIP),
Dina earned her Six-Sigma Black Belt as a business process improvement leader.
She successfully taught process improvement for GE Capital Mexico and then
facilitated and mentored multiple process improvement projects there. Dina
also facilitated the acquisition and integration of GENSTAR Inc., which
effectively doubled the size of the inter-modal fleet and significantly expanded
GE TIP's scope of operations.
Rated as one of the top sales managers in North America at
TIP, Dina demonstrated that customer focus and attention to the details they
value are the keys to best-in-class customer service and business success.
Beyond her responsibilities with Ferchmin Rowe Consulting,
Dina is also highly active in several important social justice causes and is an
accomplished public speaker and presenter.
